Well we need to do an update from our last post. Omar has now found a job and has been working security at Layton Hills Mall. He is also still attending school in which he is doing wonderful. He has made the Dean's list for 18 weeks now. He is really enjoy the course he is taking and the fact that he now attends during the day not at night anymore. He will be graduating in September. We have some plans that we are trying to work out and once they are done I will post another post to tell everyone what they are.
As for Anthony we have been having some ups and downs with him and his grades/behavior. He is a great kid when he chooses to but I guess that's how teenagers are. He is in 7th grade at North Davis and seems to enjoy it. He truly enjoyed himself when we went to CO for Thanksgiving, spent tons of time with his favorite cousin. He also was called to be part of the Deacon presidency. He does enjoy that.
Marissa has started Kindergarten and has done so well. She struggled in the beginning a little and the teacher requested for her to stay in the extended day kinder. We agree and she is so much more advanced now. Her teachers adore Marissa and truly miss her if she is sick or can't attend school. Marissa started off with a best friend who was a girl now she has 2 best friends and they are both boys. She does not stop talking about a little boy named Zealand. Drives Daddy NUTS!!!
Danielle is doing wonderful. She is growing so fast but yet she is still so tiny. She is always fighting with her little brother but hugs him and kisses him too. Dani does not do to well with primary and struggles to stay with her class, especially since she sees Mommy in there with her class. I am trying to start the registration to get her into preschool at Marissa school.
Christian is our fire cracker as he is a huge hand full. My boy is so loving towards his parents and love to squeeze in between us every chance he gets. He is talking but is struggling so like Marissa did at his age. I am looking into putting him in the program Marissa was in for speech. Christian is almost the same size as Danielle. The one thing he is so good at is making us laugh but the things he does say and do.
Well as for me, I have my new classes starting at the end of this month for my BA in Psychology. I am hoping to take this as a stepping stone but may have to put it on hold in September or towards the end of the year so I can attend another school for nursing. I have been studying for my entrance exam for a while now but can not do it till Omar graduates so we can afford to pay for child care when I have school. I have now had my cased dropped that was pending regarding the stolen identity. That was a relief. When we went to CO we were surprised to find out my Mom was there from CA to surprise us.
